Founder
Christer is a serial social entrepreneur with business experience in six countries on four continents. He has initiated social and environmental projects in Sweden, Spain and Brazil. The Mallorca Project builds on the experience of working with Biochar since 2011 and leading Circle Carbon Labs on Mallorca since 2018, where he developed the waste-to-table model and demonstrated its profitability in various different measures and legacies. In 2019, Christer was a candidate for the regional Green Party of Mallorca running for Member of European Parliament (MEP).
In press, social media and video interviews on Biochar, and at the COP25 Climate Summit (Madrid 2019) Christer presented the Circle Carbon Labs Project within the framework of International Biochar Initiative, the leading worldwide biochar organisation. Christer brings his experience and passion for the environment and its communities to this project to develop
a working model that regenerates the soil and restores the air we breathe on our fragile and most beautiful planet.

Co-Founder, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO)
Rogerio Yudi holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Escola Politécnica da USP, with a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM). He holds an MBA (Master of Business Administration) from IMD (International Institute for Management Development), located in Lausanne, Switzerland. He has held management positions in multinationals such as Ericsson and Philips in Brazil/Latin America, and in Operations and Supply Chain management in Stockholm, Sweden, where he was also CEO/Founder of Broadsense Ventures AB, working with investments in IT, internet and automotive startups. He has led Operational Excellence projects in Europe and Asia. He was a partner at Invistia Mergers and Acquisitions, where he advised on transactions in several sectors. In addition to being the founder of Academia UAU, where he has published two books, he is a partner at Heartmetrix, a company dedicated to promoting physical and mental health in the corporate world.

Co-Founder, Human Resources, Education
Astrid holds a Masters degree in teaching and a Masters degree in AgroEcology, is an art historian, as well as published author and internationally exhibited artist. Astrid has lived and worked in different countries, cultures, and languages while pursuing a career in Academia specifically in the field of Art History and Education. A few years into her professional life, she became involved in management, working with labour unions, then in the cultural domain, as an art historian, artist, writer, and teacher. Astrid is a skilled negotiator, working with the government and the institutional world. Helping to manage Circle Carbon in the current local and global climate requires both a strategic and creative attitude to deal with challenges while also focusing on performance and results.
Brazil Project Manager
Denis is a Civil Engineer and entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in the construction industry. As the owner of a sawmill and a construction company, Denis has led construction operations, including construction and paving with asphalt and concrete blocks, as well as wood treatment and sawmill operations. His experience includes teamwork, civil works experience, team management and effective communication. Notably, from 2000 to 2021, Denis stood out as a Civil Engineer in Public Works, where he was responsible for designing building and infrastructure projects, preparing budgets and schedules, and supervising public works. Denis holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES), where he studied from 1994 to 1999.
Financial Advisor
Ainsley is a chartered accountant and corporate finance specialist with +16 years of experience spanning infrastructure investment, deal structuring and financial reporting. He is an Investment Director for a leading UK sustainable infrastructure investment platform, where he originates, structures, and manages project finance solutions for early-stage and
small-scale renewable energy, leantech, and sustainable infrastructure assets.
He has also worked at an international accounting and advisory firm working across audit, valuation, and corporate finance teams - including a two-year international secondment to establish their transaction advisory practice in India. As a corporate finance specialist, he has additionally advised numerous cleantech and nature-based solutions companies on capital raising, complex financial modelling, and strategic debt/equity structuring. Ainsley’s role is to steer Circle Carbon through its industrial scale-up, global project deployment, and international corporate structuring.
